Virtual Program: Sharing Authority & Better Public History
April 13, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Join us on Tuesday, April 13 from noon-1:00 p.m. for the virtual One Tribe One Day event: Sharing Authority & Better Public History. During this public networking event, Mellon Foundation postdoctoral fellows Maria DiBenigno and Jajuan Johnson will discuss the significance of their ongoing collaborative work for the Lemon Project and William & Mary’s Highland that is central to this chapter of William & Mary’s history and evolution. The fellows will discuss William & Mary’s initiatives and historic sites that are a monumental piece of the puzzle concerning the university’s steps in sharing knowledge, strengthening existing relationships and building new collaborations to examine the afterlives of slavery in Williamsburg, Charlottesville, and beyond.
