Highland Celebrates 50 Years of William & Mary Ownership
Highland is celebrating William & Mary’s 50 years of stewardship with a new lecture series. The next lecture, Deep History: Geologic Perspectives at Highland, will feature William & Mary Geology Professor Chuck Bailey. Join us at 10:00 a.m. on September 6 for an exploration of Deep Time and the important geological connections to the landscape and human history of Virginia.
“Highland embodies the spirit of inquiry that is an essential part of the William & Mary community” said William & Mary alumni chapter president Alison Dwier-Seldon, “We are excited about sharing Highland’s forward-facing view of the past.”
Highland’s academic collaborations will be explored further in a series of in-person and virtual talks in October and November, 2025.
