SUMMARY:Family Watershed Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, June 3\, at 10:00 a.m. as we explore the watershed along the Highland Rustic Trails with representatives from the Thomas Jefferson Soil & Water Conservation District. We’ll hike to a small stream and identify the plants and animals we see in and around the water. We will get wet and dirty\, so dress for an outdoor adventure! Please wear close-toed shoes and bring insect repellent and a water bottle. The Highland Rustic Trails are not ideal for strollers. \nThis program FREE\, open to the public\, and is recommended for families with children aged 8 to 11 years old. Registration is required. Please email education@highland.org to register.
