Highland for the Holidays

Experience Highland for the Holidays at the home of President James Monroe. From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 9 through Tuesday, December 24, guests will enjoy a self-guided tour of the museum spaces and 1818 Presidential Guesthouse decorated with seasonal greenery and filled with holiday cheer. Highland interpreters will be available to discuss historical events as you explore Highland at your own pace. In honor of our fifth president, admission to Highland will be just $5 during Highland for the Holidays. Highland’s Augmented reality experience is available as a separate purchase. Plan time to complete your holiday list in the Highland Museum shop, featuring Virginia products and the Virginia Artisan Room. Our regular guided tour offerings will resume on December 26.
